The High Court Of Judicature At Allahabad has officially published its 2026 notification to fill up multiple vacancies. They are currently hiring for the positions of Review Officer (RO), Assistant Review Officer (ARO), and Computer Assistant (CA).

We all know that getting a job at the High Court is a big deal. It offers an excellent salary, amazing job security, and a very standard office work environment. This year, they have announced a total of 543 posts. If you have a basic graduation degree along with some computer knowledge, this is an opportunity you simply cannot afford to miss. Application Fee Details

To successfully submit your online form, you will need to pay an examination fee. The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts this exam, has set the following fee structure. You can pay this easily using your debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Age Limit Criteria (As on 01 July 2026)

Are you eligible by age? The high court is quite strict about these dates, so calculate your age based on the cutoff date of July 1, 2026.

• For Computer Assistant (CA): Your minimum age should be 18 years.
• For Review Officer & Assistant Review Officer (RO / ARO): Your minimum age should be 21 years.
• Maximum Age for All Posts: You must not cross 35 years of age.

If you belong to reserved categories like SC, ST, or OBC in Uttar Pradesh, you will get the standard extra age relaxations according to the state government rules.

Vacancy Breakdown & Total Posts

There are exactly 543 vacancies up for grabs this year. Here is the exact breakdown for each specific position so you can decide which one fits your profile best:

• Assistant Review Officer (ARO): 380 Posts
• Review Officer (RO): 138 Posts
• Computer Assistant (CA): 25 Posts

Salary Structure & Pay Scale

Let's talk about the best part—the salary. All these posts fall under the 7th Pay Commission, which means your bank account will be very happy at the end of every month. Here is the official pay scale matrix:

• Review Officer (RO): Level-8 Pay Matrix (₹47,600 to ₹1,51,100). The starting in-hand salary easily crosses ₹75,000 per month.
• Assistant Review Officer (ARO): Level-7 Pay Matrix (₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400). You can expect an initial in-hand salary of around ₹65,000.
• Computer Assistant (CA): Level-4 Pay Matrix (₹25,500 to ₹81,100). The starting salary will be approximately ₹40,000.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection process is straightforward but tests your speed and accuracy. The exam is conducted completely online (Computer Based Test) and usually happens in two continuous parts on the same day.

• Part 1 (Objective Test): You will face multiple-choice questions covering General Science, Indian History, Indian National Movement, Indian Polity, Geography, Current Affairs, UP Specific General Knowledge, General English, and General Hindi.
• Part 2 (Computer Typing Test): Right after the objective test, you will be given a passage in English. You must type it out on the computer to prove your minimum speed of 25 WPM. Accuracy matters a lot here!

There is no interview round for these posts. Your final merit list is based on the total marks you score in both parts.
