Application Fee Details

Next, let's look at the application fee. The fee structure depends completely on whether you are planning to write just one paper or both papers. If you want to teach primary classes (1 to 5), you give Paper I. If you want to teach upper primary classes (6 to 8), you give Paper II. Many candidates choose to give both to open up more job opportunities.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

First of all, the good news is that there is absolutely no upper age limit to appear for the CTET exam as per CBSE rules. For Level 2 (teaching upper primary classes from 6th to 8th standard), just passing the 12th class is not enough. You must have a complete Graduation degree in any stream. Plus, you need to have your B.Ed or B.El.Ed qualification completed or currently in the final year.
